PHI Air Medical Membership Program
(PHI Cares)

PHI, the company that usually provides air ambulance service in our area, has a membership program. If you are a member, you won’t have to pay out of your own pocket if you use their service.

Group membership discounts apply, and there is a Pie Town group already established. The group rate is $40 per household per year, regardless of household size or insurance coverage. You do not need to live in Pie Town to join this group, and annual renewals will be by mail to whatever address you provide.

Persons who are not eligible:

1. Medicaid recipients (you are already covered and your trip will be paid-in-full)
   Note that Medicaid and Medicare are two different things
   
   
2. Persons who weigh more than 400 pounds (you cannot be transported in PHI aircraft)
